Review.

Wild Life written by Cynthia DeFelice is a story of a twelve year old boy named Erik, who desperately wants to learn to hunt.

His hunting plans are put on hold when his parents are deployed to Iraq. Erik is forced to move from New York to North Dakota to live with Grandparents he does not even remember. While left alone at his Grandparent s house he discovers a dog with porcupine quills in his snout. He calls his Grandma and together they call a vet to get the quills out. Erik wants to keep the dog but the vet says that they will probably find the owner because it is a good hunting dog. When his Grandfather comes home he does not want the dog in the house, or the dog to be there at all, so he orders it out to the barn. Erik goes out to the barn to sleep with the dog he has named Quill. He does not want to give him up. The next day Erik decides to run away with Quill and a gun that belonged to his dead uncle. Erik believes having Quill and the gun will be enough to survive out in the prairie but he soon finds out that surviving out in the prairie is not as easy as it looks.

This story was suspenseful and amazing. DeFelice explained everything really nicely and the story wrapped up very well too. There was no bad language in this book at all.

I recomend everyone to read this book. Wild Life is appropriate for anyone 14 and older.

I am writing to you to tell you how to reduce and cope with stress. It may seem that there is nothing you can do about your stress. In reality you have much more control than you think. Managing stress depends on taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions and the way you deal with problems. You should make your life balanced, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun. To reduce your stress you can also try to meditate, to make dietary changes and to do exercises. You should also reward yourself for accomplishing things. Doing something healthy for yourself is the best way to start.

Some people belive that intelligence has more to do with a person's potential than with their abilities and I agree.
In my opinion, this potential can be brought out by good manners. As an example I will take the english character. In England people do not rush for seats in buses or trains, but take their seats in a quiet and orderly manner. They are naturally polite. People will hold a door open for you. English people do not like displaying their emotions. Many Englishmen, for example, help their wives at home. They can clean the windows or wash up the dishes.
I think that people must use and develop their potential. That is not right when the man has no potential and he uses only his abilities. In this case, intelligence can help.
A lot of intelligent people can prove this topic.

The Story

It started like any other day. Josh Barnett was travelling on a train on his way to a job interview in the city centre when he realised with horror that he was on the wrong train.
He knew he would be late for the interview and wouldn't get the job. He thought how silly he was when suddenly the train screeched to a halt. A lady who was sitting opposite him fell off her seat on the floor. Josh helped her to get up and picked up her things which lied on the carriage floor. The train set off again. The women thanked him and they began talking. Josh was telling her about his job interview when she suddenly burst into laughter. Josh was very confused. The lady explained that her husband was the was of the company where his interview is to be.
Josh was relaxing at home next day when the telephone rang. It was the lady's husband. He was calling to offer him the job.

Historically, men were the hunters and women the homemakers. It should stay like that.
In principle, I agree with this argument, but I want to note that we do not live in the Stone Age. In the Stone Age men hat to bring some food, but the modern men's life is much more complicated. He must be strong, educated and to be able to feed his family, that is is not so easy.
Women's life is harder too. She must wash the clothes, look after children and clean the apartment. In my opinion it is very stressful job. Everything connected with the children is very difficult.
Of course, if a man has some difficulties, woman can help him to gain some money. We can often see this kind of family.
I would like it to be the same like it was thousands years ago.
